System Access - MMS


This area represents the main focus of this website, MMS. Here you will find access points to the MMS database to perform station history queries.

  • General User (query-only)

    This is the right choice for most users. The data are updated monthly, following QC checks and problem resolution. The resulting data is the best available at the time.

  • Station Reports

    The end of the month reports consist of several standard reports generated from MMS.

Systems accessed by production and test users only

  • Production Ingest

    This schema is where station information is ingested and corrected. While it is the most up-to-date, it may contain inconsistencies due to the inevitable time lag between automated ingest of information from external systems and manual verification and completion of the entries. These inconsistencies are resolved during generation of monthly reports. The resulting "known good" benchmark information is replicated into the query-only schema

  • Testing

    This schema is for users testing new features. It often uses a different version of the user interface software. While refreshed with current data every month, data may be modified, deleted or added during testing; thus, data integrity may not be assumed in this schema.
