Significant Station Changes for the NWS Cooperative Network

The Sig report is a listing of all significant changes that have been processed at the NCDC Archive
Branch for the NWS cooperative network. This report is produced each month. The information provided
includes identifiers, publication information, effective date of the change, and a brief description
of the change.

FIELD			DESCRIPTION

COOPID                  Assigned by the NCDC, first 2 digits represent state, next 2 digits
                        represent the climate division, and the last 4 digits represent the station
                        and are assigned numerically by an alphabetical ordering of the station name.
STATION NAME            Name of station, may contain characters, numbers, or symbols.
PUB                     List of which publications, and which elements they contain, are available
                        for the station.

EFF DATE                NWS effective date for the change.
CD DATE                 Date of Significant Change report.
DESCRIPPTION            Description of change or changes that have occurred at the station.
